Guest Seating

Guest Seating, Seating Allocations and Seating Charts don’t have to be difficult. With Event Layout Software, this is already built into your floor plans!

It allows the user the flexibility to allocate people to seats to ultimately print guest lists and other guest details. These reports can include a guest list by Surname and/or guest list by table number and so on.

Our seating allocations use the ‘drag and drop’ method to drag people shapes to a chair on a particular table or simply import a spreadsheet. From here, you can also ‘right click’ that person shape and add/choose various options for that person. For instance, is this person a VIP, vegetarian, is this person a child, do they require a high chair? All these options can then be reported on so setup and waiter crews can easily identify these special requirements.
This is a highly effective feature of the software which saves event planners so much time! No more backwards and forwards with your clients, the process is simple:

  1. Create your seating plan for your client
  2. Send link of plan to client, here they can allocate each person to a seat.
  3. After allocating their guests to a seat, they can also add any dietary requirements
  4. Your client sends back to you their completed list!

It really is that simple. There is also no interference with your client accidentally changing the floor plan, as they can only edit the seating allocation.

Guest Reporting
When the guests have been allocated to seats, the user can then print the guest list reports. The most common reports include alphabetical guest list by surname (for service staff to greet guest and direct to their table) and guest list by Table number. You can also include any other detail about the guest from that has been collected through the Guest properties. These reports are already setup and can be dragged and dropped on the drawing.
